This has been a confusing week with regard to air travel and BTN has summarised as best as possible.
Announcements have been made by the UK Government; International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the UN civil aviation authority; International Air Transport Association (IATA), representing the airline trade; and Airport Council International (ACI), for the airports. And many lesser lights. All regarding the fight to combat Covid-19.
Two 'Travel Passports also. IATA & The World Economic Forum.
We already have a more or less standard international paper Common Passport (now dark blue for the UK) which dates from around 1980 (although they go back into history). The global electronic passport has to be the aim for 2021.
