Changes at BTN

There has been a significant change at BTN.

Business Travel News editor Richard Cawthorne has been appointed editor-at-large with a wider brief and will continue to contribute to the long-established newsletter on a regular basis. (richard.cawthorne@btnews.co.uk)

Air & Business Travel News (ABTN) was founded as Interline News in 1965 by the late John Pointer and his wife Dorothy, the print publication subsequently purchased by Malcolm Ginsberg.  BTN (Business Travel News Ltd) was first published under its present title in 2012.

Malcolm Ginsberg has reverted to day-to-day editor (but keeps his grand title of editor-in-chief which he rather likes), with the rest of the team in place. (malcolm.ginsberg@btnews.co.uk)

In these difficult times, BTN continues with 20 news stories every week, plus SOAPBOX contributions from some of the top people in the industry, COMMENT, ON TOUR with its travel related features, the monthly CRUISING & MOTORING showcases, and of course AND FINALLY, usually second in the ‘What’s Read’ league table.

BTN, a regular award winner, has no connection with a New York based publication of similar name, now trying to establish a European offspring.
