Club Aspire boost for Gatwick

Airport Dimensions, a subsidiary of the Collinson, in partnership with Switzerland-based aviation services provider Swissport, has opened a Club Aspire lounge at Gatwick’s South Terminal.

Accommodating 130 passengers, the facility is split into three main zones, including a business area with workstations. Passengers also have access to a quiet lounge and rest area with a view of the runway and a dining area next to a servery and bar.

Travellers have access to a seasonal self-serve buffet selection of hot and cold food, an extensive range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, charging points, free newspapers and magazines and unlimited wi-fi.

The lounge is open to customers of Priority Pass, LoungeKey, Lounge Pass and Executivelounges.com, as well as fee-paying walk-in guests. It is located airside on the upper level and accessed through an exclusive entrance walkway between branches of WHSmith and Sunglasses Boutique.

Club Aspire opened a lounge at Gatwick north terminal last year, while Airport Dimensions, known formerly as Airport Lounge Development (ALD), expanded its network by opening a new lounge at Buffalo Niagara International Airport in the US last month.

ALD and Swissport opened a Club Aspire lounge in 2016 at Heathrow Terminal 3.
