Electric Jaguar to the Aviation Festival

It seemed too good an opportunity to turn down – Jaguar I-PACE to the opening day of the World Aviation Festival last week.

The fact that it took somewhat longer than the 1hr journey via the Northern Line did not matter. It was a very comfortable, quiet and restful way of arriving at the Business Design Centre ready for the busy day ahead.#####

Called Havn, the new premium chauffeur service was launched in beta form last week by InMotion, Jaguar Land Rover’s venture capital and mobility services arm, using a fleet of all-electric vehicles. With this concept, each ride is tailored to the preferences of the user with options such as music choice, temperature and chauffeur interaction all customisable via the app ahead of your journey.

As part of Havn’s commitment to first class, hospitality drivers will wait an additional 30min for journeys, extended to 1hr for airport trips. This unique feature is incorporated to ensure the experience of the customer remains at the very core of Havn’s business model. With all Havn bookings, users can also enjoy use of iPads and wi-fi for the duration of their journeys – no need to supply printed newspapers.
