AND FINALLY: The lure of the royals

Whatever your reason for travelling, checking out the local royal connections is probably somewhere on the list. Celebrity Cruises certainly thinks so and has researched the 10 most popular palaces in Europe. Perhaps unsurprisingly, four of the top five are in the UK.

To create the list, Celebrity analysed Google search data to discover how many people search for each palace and combined that with the number of photos of the palace posted on Instagram.

The results in order: Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace, Versailles, Hampton Court,  Schonbrunn Palace (Austria), Palacio Real (Spain), Buda Castle (Hungary), Chateau De Fontainebleau (France), Amalienborg (Denmark)
