Biggin reaches out to Canada

A big rise in the number of ultra-long-range jet movements from North America using Biggin Hill is inspiring the airport to spread the word about its facilities as an ideal gateway for business aviation passengers into London.

In a first move, Biggin has joined the Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA) and will exhibit for the first time at the organisation's 2019 convention at Calgary International Airport from 9-11 July.  The convention brings together the industry’s biggest players and includes a two-day exhibition and static display plus educational sessions.

The CBAA is a non-profit association representing more than 400 companies in the Canadian business aviation community including operators, management companies, airports and suppliers.

Biggin Hill Airport marketing manager Andy Patsalides said: “The CBAA is Canada’s leading voice for business aviation. With our significant rise in long-range traffic, connecting with CBAA members means we can enhance support for our Canadian customers.”

Patsalides added: “This is the key event in the Canadian bizav industry’s calendar. We are looking forward to being part of the exhibition and to welcoming professionals from across the country, North America and the world, to our stand.”
