Four more hotels for Jurys-Leonardo

The doors to a fourth central London property were officially opened last week by the Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland group, which claims to be one of the fastest-growing hotel chains in Europe.

Rapid expansion in the UK is part of the group’s business plan and the company now has 15 properties around the country.

The four latest London properties, formerly Grange Hotels, add 1,300 rooms to the group, with the new owners saying they will maintain “the highest standards from highly-trained staff” at each property.

The new batch consists of one Jurys Inn property, now called Jurys Inn London Holborn, and three Leonardo Royal properties: London St. Paul’s, Tower Bridge and London City.

Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels says it will be undertaking an extensive refurbishment programme across the four properties which will include the rebrand of the Holborn hotel to become the group’s first NYX Hotel by Leonardo Hotels in the UK.

Group managing director Jason Carruthers said: “Opening four hotels in central London is an important milestone for us, and we are thrilled to offer our guests great rooms in fantastic locations in a bustling and vibrant city.”
