Not that BTN is obsessed with spending a penny (or not, in this case), but we are pleased to report toilets at the UK's busiest railway stations are now free to use after Network Rail scrapped charges, to the undoubted relief of business travellers everywhere.
This follows our report (BTN 18 March) of Virgin Trains seeking a new voice for its talking toilets.
London Liverpool Street, London King's Cross and Edinburgh Waverley have become the last of Network Rail’s 20 stations to make their facilities free having previously charged up to 50p per person.
This of course begs the next question, as asked by the BBC: Where have all the public toilets gone?
