AND FINALLY: Dying for a job

Live news – the San Francisco Dungeon tourist attraction is holding open auditions for 'bodies' to replace its long-time inhouse 'corpse', Barry, who is retiring.

The dungeon is a live-action journey through the city’s murky past and includes a section depicting the 1900 Chinatown Plague. Fans dying to replace Barry are being invited to submit audition videos.

Officials say the successful candidate will ideally be able to lay still for long stretches and stay that way while passing guests stare.

And, they add, compensation will be negotiated based on what the selected new body “brings to the table”.
