Easyjet winter blossoms

More than 77,000 flights between 28 October and 3 February next year with 13m-plus seats between them went on sale last week as easyJet launched the first part of its winter 2018 programme.

In all, the programme will encompass 127,043 flights accounting for more than 21m seats as the airline brings in its extended network. The balance of flights, many involving commuter and business routes, will be put on sale later this year.

EasyJet UK director Sophie Dekkers said: “We’re really pleased to be putting our flights for winter 2018 on sale at this stage so passengers can look forward to even more low fares to Europe’s best destinations for business as well as city breaks, ski holidays and winter getaways.”

The full winter programme covers the airline’s 11 UK airports and flights to more than 980 routes on its network across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Popular routes include Bristol – Seville, Liverpool – Venice, Gatwick – Innsbruck, Manchester – Malta and Stansted – Prague.

EasyJet has also brought in an app, Inspire Me, available through its website to help passengers to find flights tailored to their budgets and travel dates.
