With Qantas’ new London – Perth nonstop much in the news, aviation guru Simon Calder has a story to tell.

He reminds us that a previous aircraft plying the Kangaroo Route, a Boeing B767, had the registration G-BOPB, which some Australians insisted stood for Bugger Off Pommie Bastards.

What an idea.
