EasyJet Worldwide grows

Four new partner airlines have signed up to the “Worldwide by easyJet”.

The distribution service was announced by the carrier last month for passengers to connect from easyJet flights to other airlines’ long-haul services.

For the first time the easyJet website will also play host to another carrier.

The new arrivals include Italian long-haul carrier NEOS, which serves a wide range of long-haul destinations in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and the Middle East from Italian airports including Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, Verona and Bologna.

Also signing up is Guernsey’s airline Aurigny, which offers Channel Island services, and the French carrier La Compagnie, which offers a direct connection to its Business Class-only service between Paris and New York.

Completing the line-up is another French airline, Corsair, with flights from Paris Orly to long-haul destinations across Africa, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.

EasyJet said the new partners, which together carry nearly 3m passengers a year and will open up 30 regional and long-haul destinations to easyJet’s network, operate complementary networks to allow easyJet passengers to book onward flights easily, for example from Milan to Madagascar or Gatwick to Guernsey.

EasyJet also confirmed plans for its flights and the Worldwide product to be included in Google Flights.
