The Jeremy West Hollywood hotel, the newest offering on the Sunset Strip, has welcomed its first guests.
The 286-room property offers panoramic views and what it calls “a chic LA aesthetic". It is located on the corner of La Cienega and Sunset Boulevard and features 50 suites, including two penthouse suites, an outdoor pool and terrace and fitness centre complete with Peloton bikes.
Other highlights include two large conference rooms and event spaces, alongside a casual café and the João lobby bar overlooking the entire city. Clad in a distinctive metal on the exterior, and adding to the spectacular design, a seven-storey public art installation connects the hotel’s two-room towers.
Lit by innovative LED lighting by Hollywood designer Walter Barry, the artistic piece lights up when the sun goes down, as the hotel puts it “helping to recreate a glowing reminder of the city’s beauty and wonder”.
