Cheval to open in Doha
Serviced apartment specialist Cheval Residences is to open its first development outside London in 2020 in Doha, in partnership with the Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company (QIMC).
Group managing director Mohammed S Almarzooqi said Cheval West Bay ApartHotel Doha would be a “flagship development” and “a milestone in our vision to build a strategic portfolio to suit the demands of our affluent well-travelled guests”.
The project, on Doha’s exclusive Corniche waterfront near the central business district and exhibition centre, will include 350 rooms including open-plan studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom options.
Cheval says each will be furnished to a high standard, with floor-to-ceiling windows to show off the views of the sea and city views, marble and wood finishes, top audio-visual equipment, rainforest showers and modern kitchens.
Guests will also be able to take advantage of exclusive use of a gym, spa, outdoor swimming pools and an array of restaurant and fine dining outlets in the building.
Cheval has eight developments featuring serviced apartments, townhouses and penthouses in London, including Gloucester Park, Thorney Court, Knightsbridge, Harrington Court and Hyde Park Gate.
The apartments vary from open plan one-bedroom apartments to a four-bedroom penthouse.
