Celebration for Air France

Special flights organised by Air France are taking place next month to celebrate the arrival of the airline’s new B787-9 Dreamliner, which is due to be delivered on Thursday (8 December).

The aircraft is scheduled to make four special flights, starting with Corsica and the Mediterranean at 08:30 and the South West and Gascony at 13:30 on 7 January.  On 8 January, the aircraft will take off at 08:30 for Brittany and at 13:30 for a flight around France.

The flights will include champagne and festive dining for all passengers, as well as surprises, gifts and flight certificates.  Premium Economy passengers will have access to the carrier’s Business Class lounge, while Business Class passengers will be offered private transfers to and from Paris CDG in partnership with Hertz. Tickets cost from €249 in Economy, €349 in Premium Economy, and €787 in Business Class.

Air France is also rostering the B787-9 on to its flights between Paris CDG and Heathrow for a limited period, to allow short-haul passengers to discover the airline’s newest long-haul product.

The carrier is introducing its latest Premium Economy seat on the new aircraft, offering more space, up to 130deg recline within a fixed shell, more legroom and additional storage areas.
