What have Malaysia Airlines (MH) and Liverpool Football Club in common?
On the face of it, nothing. MH does not even fly to Liverpool.
But Liverpool is a major international brand.
And Malaysia Airlines likes to think it is also. “Reds Malaysia” is an official branch of the supporters’ club.
Under the partnership, the airline will have LED and static-board brand exposure at each home game at Anfield and exposure on the Liverpool FC website, publications and Facebook page.
There will also be co-branding opportunities in merchandising rights and customer engagement via events such as pitch-side access with current and former players plus the airline will also have access to players to be featured as ambassadors and in all related communication materials.
