Rotterdam is Flybe’s latest

Flybe has launched a twice daily service from Manchester to Rotterdam The Hague Airport with a 68-seat Bombardier Q400.  Flight time is around 90 minutes. 

It is the only service to the airport from the UK outside London.  The Hague is about 12 miles from the airport and is the centre of government for the Netherlands, but not technically its capital, which is Amsterdam.  Rotterdam is Europe’s largest container port.

Stephen Turner, commercial director for Manchester Airport, said: “I’m delighted that today sees Flybe’s inaugural flight between Manchester Airport and Rotterdam. This new service will offer the 22 million people in our catchment area direct links to a fantastic city that offers passengers a wealth of attractions to visit as well as access to its thriving business district and the nearby city of The Hague."  www.flybe.com
