Eurowings, the Lufthansa regional operation, is to introduce a six times per week service from Düsseldorf to East Midlands Airport at the end of March operating a single class Bombardier CRJ 100 jet.
With a EMA departure at 12.25 (Sunday 07:50) the flight connects at Düsseldorf to Hamburg, Berlin/Tegel, Prague, Zurich and Milan.
The airline serves in the UK Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heathrow, Jersey, Manchester, Newcastle, Newquay and Stansted airports, mostly with limited summer holidays service.
