Based in the city of that name Austrian hotel group Vienna International Hotels and Resorts has rebranded as 'Vienna House'.
Austria is famed for hospitality skills and also its friendliness. With this culture very much in mind the country’s largest hotel chain has decided to rebrand with an aim of building a new corporate culture that follows this mentality.
This new concept will see the entire line of hotels renovated to embody an Austrian welcome, with emphasis on provenance, personalisation and customer wellbeing. The re-brand marks a major milestone for Rupert Simoner, CEO of Vienna House, who first set out to simplify the Vienna International hotel experience in 2014.
Mr Simoner explains: “The name ‘Vienna' stands for the company’s origins and for the quality of life, joie de vivre and hospitality for which the city is famous. ‘House’ is a place that unites, where you can be yourself, where the family comes together, and where you invite friends and guests as a host.
"This feeling of contemporary, modern Vienna, combined with our shared European roots and traditions, will be reflected in all hotels.”
The umbrella brand ‘Vienna House’ brings together four separate hotel lines, each with their own personality but the same core values. While the andel and angelo brands will remain, a new ‘Vienna House Easy’ brand will replace the Arcadia and Chopin lines. www.viennahouse.com
