The 2016 Business Travel Show is now just over four weeks away (24-25 February) and will once again be at the Olympia Grand Hall. (Potential visitors should note that the London Underground no longer runs to Kensington Olympia with the best access now by public transport either the Overground or a bus or walk from either Kensington High Street or Hammersmith stations.)
New exhibitors for this year include: Etihad Airways, Booking.com, Hertz, American Airlines, Belmond, American Express Corporate Card, Heathrow Express, Titanic Hotels, Boots, G4S Risk Consulting, Deutsche Bahn, Avis Budget Group plus eight new start-ups in the Launchpad. (see BTN 16 November 2015)
The 2015 show attracted 3,279 travel buyers and bookers, 351 hosted buyers and 2,911 pre-scheduled hosted buyer appointments.
The results of the sixth annual Business Travel Show forecast suggest 2016 could be a challenging year for buyers with budgets increasing at a slower rate, half of buyers worrying about rising travel costs and compliance, new distribution methods and traveller wellbeing causing concern. The comprehensive speaker programme features more than 175 industry experts, catering for all knowledge levels and covers the full spectrum of travel management. www.businesstravelshow.com
