Cadet pilots needed

The aviation industry is forecast to need more than 500,000 new pilots over the next 20 years to meet demand for international travel according to Boeing.  The British Airline Pilots’ Association (BALPA) does not agree with the numbers, too high, but with five sets of aircrew needed for every aircraft, and at least 30,000 currently flying, and many more on their way, the numbers are big.  Pilots do not stay out of work for long.

Global airline pilot training and resourcing company CTC Aviation has announced that a financial solution is now exclusively available for those seeking to fund their licence programme.

The new loan offers aspiring pilots secured funding for loan amounts ranging from £25,000 to £125,000, providing the potential to fund not only airline pilot career training, but also type-rating training should such funding be required once CTC Aviation has secured airline placement for the successful graduate pilot.

Earlier this month, 226 CTC Aviation pilots graduated at the company’s annual graduation ceremony.  Of those graduates 75% had already been placed with one of CTC Aviation’s Airline Partners including easyJet, British Airways, Flybe, Monarch Airlines, Qatar Airways, Thomas Cook Airlines and Ryanair.   A professional pilot career can include long-haul, short-haul, commuter and air taxi work.

Those who had more recently completed their training are expected to be placed within 3-6 months of graduating.   www.ctcaviation.com
