SkyTeam lounge opens at HK

The global airline alliance SkyTeam officially opened its exclusive lounge at Hong Kong International Airport last week, the fourth in the world. 

It is available to First and Business Class passengers and Elite Plus members flying on all 12 member airlines serving the airport.

The 1,000sq m facility can seat up to 230 passengers and features a yoga room; noodle bar with offering cooked-to-order cuisine and an iconic ‘Living Wall’ botanical centrepiece.

Showcasing more than 50 plant species, it is designed to bring a touch of nature to the travel experience at SkyTeam lounges around the world.

The Hong Kong lounge is in Terminal 1 and open daily between 05:30 and 01:00.  As with the SkyTeam lounges at Heathrow, Istanbul Ataturk, and Sydney International airports, amenities also include workstations, charging points for electronic devices, free wi-fi access; showers, a hot and cold buffet of international cuisine and a bar selection.

SkyTeam member airlines serving Hong Kong International include Aeroflot, Air France, China Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Garuda Indonesia, Kenya Airways, KLM, Korean Air, Vietnam Airlines and Xiamen Airlines.  www.skyteam.com
