Korean’s new-look B777

Described as the ultimate in privacy, the First Class Kosmo 2.0 Suite made its debut as Korean Air launched its newly-refurbished Boeing 777-300ER on the daily service between Heathrow and Incheon yesterday (Sunday 25 October).

The new aircraft features a total of 277 seats, including the Kosmo 2.0 plus 42 new and accessible “Prestige Suites” in the Prestige (Business) Class cabin.

The Kosmo Suite has sliding doors and partitions with an 83in seat pitch, 24in width and 180deg recline inside a private room with a 24in entertainment system.

The Prestige Suiteconfiguration has been designed to allow passengers by the windows to be able to pass into the aisles without disturbing aisle passengers. The  is also equipped with an upgraded in-flight entertainment system with 18in monitor and touch-screen controls, the seat with a 72in pitch and 180deg recline with personal ottomans.

The Prestige Suite is already on the Airbus 333 aircraft used on routes between Seoul, Sydney and Brisbane, while both new cabins are available on new aircraft and will be rolled out progressively on new long-haul fleet deliveries.   www.koreanair.com
