More ways to pay on Delta

Delta Air Lines is increasing the number of payment options available to international travellers booking flights through its website.

The changes will include online bank transfers made in real-time and are available in 10 European countries and Singapore. The payment method is in addition to existing gift-card, debit-card and credit-card options.

Delta says it is the first airline to offer bank transfers as an option to customers in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Spain and Switzerland as well as the UK.

Nat Pieper, Senior VP, said: “As a global airline, we are focused on making Delta easier to do business with and this includes acknowledging that customers around the world have different preferences when it comes to paying online.

“Offering online bank transfers provides greater choice and convenience, expanding payment options available to deliver a safe, secure and increasingly popular way to purchase travel online.”  www.delta.com
