Biggin’s BGAD bonanza

With more than 700 visitors, 60 exhibitors and 20 aircraft and helicopters on display, the move of the Business and General Aviation Day (BGAD) show to Biggin Hill Airport has been acknowledged as a great success.

Attendees found the full spectrum of business aviation on display, with highlights including the UK premier of the Textron Cessna Latitude, the launch of TBM dealer Flying Smart’s new sales base at Biggin Hill, Globeair’s promotion of its new collaboration with BACA, and Zenith Aviation’s introduction of its new charter fleet.

Charter brokers and aircraft operators joined in a lively selection of talks, discussions and seminars hosted by BACA and the BBGA. Especially popular  was a ‘speed dating’ session with 11 operators hosting tables to meet charter brokers circulating for time-limited 3min briefings.

Andy Patsalides, Marketing Manager of Biggin Hill airport said: "The event was a real showcase for the airport, and we were especially delighted that moving the show to London for the first time resulted in a significant increase in visitor and exhibitor numbers."  www.bigginhillairport.com   www.bgad.aero
