DoubleTree at Yunnan

China’s major manufacturing hub of Yunnan province has acquired a new Hilton presence with the opening of the DoubleTree Resort Xishuangbanna in Jinghong. 

With various-sized meeting facilities, a 660sq m ballroom, and a workdesk plus high-speed internet access in every guestroom, the business-focused hotel is 7km from Xishuangbanna International Airport. It is Hilton's first DoubleTree Resort in Yunnan and the third Hilton Worldwide hotel in the province, after Hilton Garden Inn Lijiang and Hilton Yuxi Fuxian Lake.

The DoubleTree brand is growing aggressively in China, with 60 hotels in the current pipeline and 23 hotels in operation including this latest addition.

Hilton has also announced the entry of the DoubleTree brand into Colombia with the signing of franchise licence agreements to convert two Hoteles Cosmos hotels in Bogotá. DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Parque 93 and DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá Calle 100 are expected to open in December this year and February next year respectively.  http://doubletree3.hilton.com
