Premium Economy is now confirmed by Singapore Airlines on the vast majority of services from Heathrow and Manchester to the island state.
The new cabin features a width of either 18.5 inches (47cms) or 19.5 inches (49.5cms), depending on aircraft type, with a 20cm recline and a seat pitch (legroom) of 38 inches (96cms) and featuring two USB ports and a power supply.
Passengers also receive noise-cancelling headphones and can watch entertainment on a 34cm (13.4”) HD screen, which Singapore claims is the largest in its class. Passengers receive a 35kg baggage allowance and have the option of pre-ordering their meals from a selection of main courses.
Both Lufthansa and Vietnam Airlines have also recently introduced similarly named products and BTN hopes to compare. www.singaporeair.com www.btnews.co.uk/article/9359 www.btnews.co.uk/article/9357
