This year’s UK Business & General Aviation Day, or BGAD, takes off on Tuesday (September 15) at Biggin Hill.
This annual event for business aviation has become a significant showcase since it was launched in partnership with Marshall Business Aviation Service at Cambridge Airport in 2001 to offer the UK industry a cost-effective exhibition and meeting place.
The show marks a further development with the move to Biggin Hill and future events will rotate between there and Cambridge. BGAD 2015 is also much larger with more booths, more aircraft and twice the seminar space.
The static display line-up, including turbine helicopters, turboprops and business jets, also sees a change with some aircraft as usual lining the apron immediately outside but also, for the first time, inside the exhibition hall. Among them are expected to be the G280 Gulfstream, Hawker 900, several Cessna Citation models, Pilatus PC12, Beechcraft King Air B200, Embraer Phenom 300 and the Bombardier Global 5000. www.bgad.aero
