Singapore Airlines has confirmed that its much heralded new Premium Economy Class will not be available as planned for its Airbus A380 fleet due to delays in the seat installation programme."Singapore Airlines is working to complete the installation programme as quickly as possible. Customers with ticketed bookings who are affected by the delays will be contacted progressively by Singapore Airlines or travel agents to offer alternative travel arrangements," said SIA in a statement on its website, apologising for the inconvenience caused.
Affected routes include Singapore to Beijing, Paris, Shanghai and Tokyo, all key services. With London, two of its four flights are A380. www.singaporeair.com
