Travel Coffee Break

Hosted by former Classic FM radio presenter, Alastair McKenzie 'Travel Coffee Break’ is a weekly online video chat with travel writers, travel providers and travel PRs.

It goes 'live' every Wednesday at 14:00 UK time and runs for around 40 minutes.

"I love chatting about travel and tourism," says Alastair. "I've been a travel journalist for over 25 years and I still love finding and chatting with guests from all over the world about amazing new experiences, travel products and industry news."

Each edition usually has one or two main topics and a regular feature such as Aviation News with Malcolm Ginsberg, Editor in Chief of Business Travel News.

The Travel Coffee Break is a Google 'Hangout on Air' (HOA). Guests, up to nine plus Alastair, join from anywhere around the world on their PC or laptop.  Likewise viewers can watch anonymously on any device.  The Hangout is live-streamed and when it finishes it is automatically saved as a You Tube video.

“While we are talking we can be displaying photos and maps, and answering questions typed in by the audience, and I love that interaction," says Alastair.

The  TravelCoffeeBreak.com  blog highlights what is coming, and acts as an archive of most of the previous three years' editions.  www.youtube.com
