The Lanesborough, Hyde Park Corner, has reopened after a major 18-month renovation as one of the masterpiece properties of the Oetker Collection.
Overlooking The Wellington Arch Hyde Park Corner (the Iron Duke’s London home Apsely House is nearby too), and opposite the grounds of Buckingham Palace, The Lanesborough is one of London’s most iconic hotels commanding a prestigious location that straddles both Knightsbridge and Mayfair.
The hotel comprises 93 rooms and suites including The Royal Suite – the largest suite in London with seven bedrooms and bathrooms, two living rooms and a dining room.
All guests of the hotel have a private butler.
The re-launch includes new restaurant Céleste, opening under the guidance of Executive Chef Florian Favario, protégé of Le Bristol’s three-Michelin starred Chef Patron Eric Frechon. Céleste’s menu draws on traditional French ‘savoir faire’ whilst championing the finest in British produce, and will offer everything from an informal lunch, traditional afternoon tea and fine dining for dinner. The Library Bar and the hotel’s cigar lounge, The Garden Room, are ideal for informal drinks in a grand setting.
The refurbished hotel embodies the signature style that has become synonymous with The Lanesborough over its long history. www.lanesborough.com
