Southampton Hilton at The Ageas Bowl

Hilton’s latest venture, at Southampton’s Ageas Bowl sports complex, is now open.  Overlooking on one side the home of Hampshire cricket, clients in the rooms opposite can view the golf course under construction, and a lake.  It is a lovely setting and close by Junction 7 of the M27 and the Hedge End shopping complex.

The stunning purpose-built 171-guestroom property has introduced a range of dining options including the Spa Café, the Lakeview Sports Bar and all-day dining restaurant Beefy's, serving English cuisine, and providing a relaxing setting for business lunches, sport breaks, drinks or special events.

The Southampton Hilton at The Ageas Bowl must be the only hotel in the UK with a press box built in.  The media are exceptionally well looked after as they watch the cricket in progress.  The facility is used all year-round for many activities.

Hilton at The Ageas Bowl Southampton is an impressive venue for corporate events or grand banquets, offering eight meeting rooms and the largest ballroom in the region with more than 1,500sq meters of event space, hosting up to 700 people.  There is free wi-fi, and an Executive Lounge.

The UK’s first Hilton ‘eforea spa’ has been incorporated, plus a fitness room and the adjacent Hampshire Tennis Club featuring indoor and outdoor swimming pools.  http://www3.hilton.com
