AND FINALLY: Clear off – Do not disturb

A popular high quality boutique hotel group has in the last month or so been purchased by a Singapore-based property company.

The moto of the hotel is “dare to be different”.

But  BTN  thinks it has gone too far.

Instead of a sign “please do not disturb” to be hung outside the bedroom door it says “CLEAR OFF “ in large capitals with the usual request not to enter in very small print.

The reverse side of the notice is more in the style of a 5-star product “Clear Up – please tidy my room”.

Let’s hope the new eastern owners don’t clear off when they see the sign.  They will know who they are!
