Wizz Air and flight changes

Budapest-based Wizz Air, now the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced a new simplified process for flight changes.  Under the new simplified process, passengers can change the date or the routing of their flight by paying a change fee of 50% of the fare they paid for their original ticket, plus any difference in fares and baggage fees between the original and the new flight.

Passengers on Wizz Air, unlike on some other airlines, already have the option of changing the date or the routing of their flight online, via the reservations call centre or with airport agents.  Passengers can avoid the change fee altogether by selecting the Plus Fare when making their original booking or by purchasing the Wizz Flex service for just €10 per flight as an extra to the Basic Fare.  Both the Plus Fare and Wizz Flex allow an unlimited amount of flight changes.  This package is particularly popular with business travellers who require flexibility.

The new moved is aimed at private travellers who have an urgent need to change their travel arrangements and do not wish to lose the total cost of the flight.   https://wizzair.com
