“Great news let’s build it,” said the email to Heathrow CEO John Holland-Kaye, and read out at Runways UK by the said gentleman.

The problem was that this Patrick McLaughlin is an engineer based at the airport, and not the Transport Secretary.

Mind you, it could be the Minister's view too.
