Mumbai St Regis

The famous Palladium Hotel in Mumbai is to become a St Regis Hotel and will fly the flag for the iconic brand in India from the third quarter of 2015.

Located in Lower Parel, one of the most prestigious addresses in the city, the hotel combines timeless sophistication with modern luxury and is a fitting debut for the Starwood brand in this fast growing market.

“We are very excited to bring the St Regis brand to India,” said Jim Petrus, Global Brand Leader, St Regis Hotels & Resorts. “Starwood is maintaining strong growth momentum in the region and the arrival of St Regis in Mumbai reinforces our commitment to growing our luxury portfolio in this important market.  With the hotel’s strategic location, sophisticated service and refined elegance, we look forward to offering guests an unparalleled experience true to both the destination and the St Regis legacy.”

Adjoining the hotel is the famous Palladium, the only luxury retail shopping centre in the city.

The 38-storey hotel will feature 386 well-appointed guest rooms, including 60 suites.  Facilities include a swimming pool and a fitness centre.  For meetings and events, it offers over 5,200sq m of event spacing including a 4,200sq m grand ballroom.   www.starwoodhotels.com
