SkyTeam changes

Perry Cantarutti, currently VP Senior Vice President – Europe, Middle East and Africa, Delta Air Lines, is to become Chief Executive Officer of SkyTeam on secondment.
 
This follows the intended retirement of Chairman Leo van Wijk (KLM), with effect from November.  Michael Wisbrun, the present Chief Executive Officer of SkyTeam will become Chairman of the global alliance.

“Since 2007, the alliance has increased in size and scale to 20 members with an expansive global reach.  As the alliance celebrates its 15th anniversary, our members have intensified cooperation across the globe,” said Leo Van Wijk.  “SkyTeam provides technology platforms and aligns standards that make it easy for our members to do business together ensuring a seamless and consistent delivery of service to our customers right across the globe.  The new leadership team will continue this work to deliver on our ‘Caring more about you’ promise, bringing seamless travel experience for our customers to a new level.”   www.skyteam.com
