A regular contributor to BTN, aviation economist Laurie Price recently received an Air League prestigious Framed Scroll from His Royal Highness Prince Philp at a Reception at St James’s Palace. (see also Heathrow Domestic Routes in this issue) The award was made to Laurie, a long-standing member of the Council of the Air League, for his work on behalf of the Air League in drafting submissions on Aviation Policy to Government and the Davies Commission whilst recognising his ongoing work in support of UK General Aviation.
Responding to the award, Laurie said, “I was honoured for my work on aviation policy and General Aviation to be recognised by this award after some 41 years in the air transport Industry.” Other recipients of Air League Framed Scrolls on the evening included Caroline Wyatt, the BBC Defence correspondent.” www.airleague.co.uk
