The London office of Malaysia Airlines has issued the following statement to the travel trade.
“As a trusted partner and supporter of Malaysia Airlines, I wanted to write to you to update you on the news you will no doubt have heard regarding Malaysia Airlines’ fleet options.
Whilst the overall structure of the network continues to be evaluated, let me reassure you first and foremost that the twice daily London to Kuala Lumpur A380 service is – and remains – our flagship route within the network.
Malaysia Airlines has been flying between London and Kuala Lumpur for over 40 years and we are proud to serve this popular route with one of the most modern aircraft; the Airbus A380. The twice daily service between these two global hubs is enjoyed by thousands of guests every week.
There is currently no aircraft in the Malaysia Airlines fleet which could replace the award-winning guest experience offering of the A380." www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en.html
