AND FINALLY: "Linked In" to the afterlife

Sadly one of our subscribers passed away and naturally his name was removed from our mailings.

We also informed “LinkedIn” to tell them of his departure from this world.

This ended up with a string of automated emails telling us they couldn't remove it without proof, although we did send a printed obituary.

It seemed impossible to make contact with a “LinkedIn” human.

Our previous subscriber is still trying to make contact with us!

What to do?

Andrew Sharp, Surbiton

I get exactly the same thing. Plus frequent emails from LinkedIn telling me that there are people I know on LinkedIn that I might like to connect with - including our dear departed friend. Thanks, LinkedIn :-(
