Singapore Airlines at Heathrow

Heathrow Terminal 2 now has a Singapore Airlines Silver Kris lounge.  It follows the carrier’s ‘home away from home’ concept, which is designed and modelled to provide a sense of ‘being home'.  The new lounge will make London the airline’s third city to feature these designs, as part of a network-wide upgrade programme.  It is located close to the airline’s regular B36 gate.

With separate areas dedicated to First and Business Class customers, a total of 208 seats is offered, complete with roving hosts to look after guests throughout their stay.

In First Class, customers will be proactively provided with an at-seat service, including a choice of welcome drinks on arrival, together with a hot towel service similar to that experienced on board.  They will benefit from both a self-service buffet area and an à la carte offering, where five different à la carte menus will operate throughout each day.

Business Class clients will enjoy a self-service buffet, still offering menu items cooked freshly on-site using only fresh ingredients and which will also provide variety across both Asian and Western dishes throughout the day.  Also included is a bar area, complete with a professional bar tender, where customers can enjoy a range of premium drinks, including freshly prepared cocktails.  www.singaporeair.com
