Air New Zealand has confirmed the introduction of its first ever service to South America on 1 December between Auckland and Buenos Aires.
The airline will operate three return services a week using Boeing 777-200 aircraft offering lie-flat Business Premier beds, comfortable new Premium Economy seats and Air New Zealand’s unique Economy Skycouch.
Cam Wallace, Chief Sales and Commercial Officer, says: “We’re thrilled to be making South America accessible to Kiwis for business and holiday travel with a non-stop service that will have them in Buenos Aires city in less than 12 hours.
“The distance between New Zealand and Buenos Aires has seemed daunting for travellers in the past with indirect routings and long layovers meaning a total travel time of anywhere from 15 to 30 hours.
“We’re thrilled to be closing the gap between New Zealand and this exciting destination, making it more accessible to everyone from backpackers and intrepid explorers through to families and holidaymakers looking for new destinations.” www.airnewzealand.co.nz
