British start-up, FastTrack Company is aiming to solve the problem of lost luggage and baggage worries with the introduction of Eviate bag track and trace solution.Eviate eTrack is a tracking device that enables travellers to track their bag via their smartphone. By placing it in your bag, Eviate eTrack enables both passengers and airlines to know exactly where a bag is. The device, which uses GSM technology, also sends the owner a message when their suitcase is on the baggage carousel, and uniquely whether it has been opened during the journey. According to FastTrack Company the patented eTrack technology is the only tracking solution on the market which meets all international air travel regulations.
FastTrack Company has also launched Eviate eTag which is a digital baggage tag enabling passengers to digitally check in at home and skip long queues at airport check-in. eTag is only available in conjunction with participating airlines. Passengers who would like to take advantage of eTag should register when ordering eTrack. FastTrack Company will then endeavour to arrange for the airlines to sign up to use eTag.
The Eviate eTrack device is available to pre-order for an August delivery. www.eviate.com
