Greek airline Aegean is to launch two new direct flights from the UK to Larnaca (Cyprus) and Heraklion (Crete).
The flights to Larnaca will depart from Heathrow daily as of 29 March, while the flights to Heraklion will depart from Gatwick as of 21 June, with up to six flights a week in the summer. Aegean will also renew its summer flight schedule to Athens from Birmingham airport and flights from Manchester airport to Athens now operate to an all year round schedule. Flights from Heathrow to Athens will continue to operate up to three times a day.
Aegean offers both Business and Economy Class travel from the UK to Larnaca and Heraklion so serving the commercial and leisure sectors. The new routes reflect Aegean's ambitious expansion plans, which have seen it increase its route network through the purchase of Olympic Air to 134 destinations with over 15 million seats on sale for 2015. www.aegeanair.com
