Airportr, the luggage collection and delivery service, is expanding its offering for British Airways domestic passengers at London City Airport.
All travellers arriving from Glasgow, Edinburgh, or the Isle of Man, into the Docklands airport, can now take advantage of the Carousel Collection service that was initially only available to Executive Club members. Bags are collected by AirPortr representatives, airside, from the baggage carousel, and are then delivered to an address of choice within the M25 area. The on demand service can be booked right up until take-off, so passengers can just land and go, whilst AirPortr collects the hand or hold luggage for same day delivery.
Whilst Executive Club members will continue to have free upgrades to Carousel Collection, all other domestic British Airways arriving customers can now enjoy the service from a starting fee of £25, dependent on delivery address.
Although only currently available at London City arrivals, AirPortr anticipates the service will be extended to international arrivals at a number of London airports this summer making luggage freedom, whether for business or pleasure, a reality. www.portr.com
