Hilton’s latest brand, called Curio, is about to arrive in Europe.
Launched in June 2014, Curio offers upper upscale and luxury independent hotels the opportunity to partner with Hilton Worldwide whilst maintaining their own distinct identity and local charm. Clients stay at autonomous properties knowing they have the standards and strength of Hilton behind them, an insurance if you like.
Having already welcomed guests into the first Curio properties in destinations in the United States including Las Vegas, Dallas and Florida, Reichshof Hamburg is expected to be the first Curio to open in Europe. Built in 1910 and featuring an imposing art deco façade and an impressive panelled restaurant the hotel will include 280 guest rooms and suites, 11 meeting rooms and a 177m2 ballroom.
“Since launching Curio less than a year ago, the reception from owners and guests has been incredible, and our maiden hotels in Europe join five hotels currently trading and more than 20 in the pipeline or with signed letters of intent across the world,” commented Dianna Vaughan, Global Head of Curio.
Hotels within the collection offer advantages for guests and owners including Hilton Worldwide’s operating system, which has facilitated the rapid global rollout of e-check in and room selection at more than 4,100 properties globally. http://curiocollection3.hilton.com
