Aviation Club vacancy

Naomi King, the Secretary of the Aviation Club of the United Kingdom, has decided to retire in July this year after 20 years in the role.

The Club is seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic self-starter, who can readily cope with multiple tasks and priorities to provide a full range of secretariat services. The Secretary is the initial point of contact for members and non-members for which is required a skill set encompassing event management, basic book keeping and budget control, minute taking, Club correspondence and associated documentation.

The Club hosts about 10 lunches and receptions, each with 200+ attendees a year, and the candidate must be comfortable in hosting board level personnel, from CEOs of airlines and major organisations from across the globe, to UK Government ministers and officials.

The Secretary reports to, and works closely with a very supportive and pro-active Club Committee, and is a key player as the Club seeks to build further upon its current excellent success and reputation.
