Taiwan airline launched

V Air is the name of a new Taiwanese airline that made its maiden flight on 17 December with a service from Taipei to Bangkok.  The carrier is now operating this route on a daily basis.

V Air’s Chairman is Mr Vincent M. Lin and CEO, Ms Eleni Lung.

The airline plans to launch services to Chiang Mai (Thailand) on 7 January 2015.  Currently, V Air has one Airbus A321 aircraft with 194 seats and expects to expand its fleet to a total of five planes by the end of 2015.  www.flyvair.com
