New Bangkok hotel

Now open in Bangkok is Thailand’s first upscale hotel under the Avani brand.
 
Avani Hotels & Resorts was launched in 2011 to complement Minor Hotel Group’s 5-star Anantara product. The brand currently has six properties in operation in Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia and Mozambique, with a pipeline of further openings in Asia, the Indian Ocean and Africa.

Located in central Bangkok the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle bus service to the Makkasan Station just over a kilometre away, which has an Airport Rail Link every hour between 06:00 and 21:00 daily.  Just a 10-minute walk away, the MRT subway station links to the BTS sky train system, connecting to everything Bangkok has to offer.  The city’s premier shopping, dining and business districts are a short distance from the hotel and the Thailand Cultural Centre, Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre and several key embassies are a quick train or taxi ride.

The 23-storey hotel has 568 guest rooms and suites in a range of categories and sizes with on the top floor an Executive Lounge for breakfast, complimentary evening cocktails and canapés, and a host of executive privileges.
