Paddington Hilton

Not to be confused with the Hilton Metropole just down the road, the Paddington Hilton, part of the railway station of the same name, will open its GWR Tower guest rooms in early December.

This exclusive 56-bedroom area has direct private access from the entrance lobby and guests can check in at that point or in the top floor Tower Lounge.

Each of the rooms, 32-36sq m, are similar and decorated in an art deco style with all the usual amenities with plenty of working space, a large bathroom including separate bath and shower and a dressing room/wardrobe area.

The Tower Lounge@Paddington will offer a made-to-order breakfast, light snacks during the day and cocktails and canapés during the evening.  Seven complimentary food experiences will be prepared each day.

With Crossrail due to be completed in 2018, and direct access via the main line station, the hotel is expecting even more business from Heathrow.  Whilst the Heathrow Express currently offers a 15-minute ride to the central area, the new rail line will open up the rejuvenated Paddington area to East London, Essex and Kent.

The recently classically updated executive rooms continue in the main hotel, with access to an exclusive lounge overlooking the main station concourse.   www.gwrtower.hilton.com
